Alex Ekubo, Venita Akpofure & Grace Johnson at the Uyo Premiere of “Akan”



A lot of you loved the trailer for Akan when BN presented it to you in July, now the movie has premiered in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.

The main cast including Alex Ekubo, Venita Akpofure and Grace Johnson all flew in from Lagos to walk the red carpet and promote the productin.

The movie which explores what makes a woman a “wife material” or not, is directed by Desmond Elliot and produced by Archie Sam and was recently nominated for the 2014 GIAMA award in the Best Indigenous Film category.

Last week   Governor Godswill Obot Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State   relieved some members of his cabinets(Some commissioners and board chairmen) of their duties.
