Blessing Okagbare Wins Gold in 100m Race at the CAA Marrakech 2014


Blessing is indeed blessed.After her multiple win at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Blessing Okagbare is amazing us yet again. She participated in the Championnats D’Afrique D’Athletisme in Marrakech, Morroco today where she beat 26-year-old Ivorian Murielle Ahouré in the women’s 100m race at 11.00 secs flat at the Grand Stade de Marrakech.

125 students from Nigeria who have received full scholarships from the government will be attending college in Boston this Fall (August/September). They will be attending the Northeastern University , My Fox Boston reports. Governor Akpabio Nominates new commissioners

Last week   Governor Godswill Obot Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State   relieved some members of his cabinets(Some commissioners and board chairmen) of their duties. The Governor on Tuesday 29th April 2014 sent to the State House of assembly the names of people nominated to fill some vacant positions in his cabinet. According to our source, the governor stated that the nomination was in line with the provisions of   sec 192 of the Nigerian Constitution. The nominees are: 1.Mr. Ante Okpo 2.Engr. Ignatius Edet. The nominees are however awaiting screening  by the House which is scheduled to hold Tomorrow 30th April 2014. Congratulations in advance to the nominees.
